Right To Bear Announces Lifetime Membership Discount for Faith Leaders Committed to Protecting Their Communities

50% lifetime discount on annual membership for pastors, faith leaders, and leaders of faith-based schools who establish and maintain a security team or ministry

Columbia, South Carolina — Thursday, October 8th, 2026— Right To Bear, a self-defense legal protection membership association, today announced a 50% lifetime discount on its annual membership rate for pastors, faith leaders, and leaders of faith-based schools who commit to establishing and maintaining a security team or ministry.

 

To qualify, the house of worship or school must have at least two people committed to serving in a security capacity each week. The discount continues for as long as the membership remains active.

The initiative reflects Right To Bear's long-standing commitment to houses of worship and faith-based schools across the United States. It is designed to encourage leaders who have been hesitant to take the next step: building a security plan, identifying people willing to serve, and training them.

In many congregations, protection comes not from a professional security officer but from a pastor, volunteer, or member who has stepped forward to serve. Right To Bear's goal is to make it easier for those leaders and their teams to have access to self-defense protection, legal resources, training, and support.

Right To Bear is recommended to those serving in church and ministry security roles by organizations including Protect This House, Christian Warrior, Faith Based Security Network, Strategos, and Able Shepard.
