A Right To Bear Membership provides legal protection and attorney access if you’re involved in a lawful self-defense incident. It’s designed to help cover legal costs, connect you with an attorney immediately, and support you through the legal process.
Is this insurance?
No. Right To Bear is a membership-based legal protection program, not an insurance policy. CCW insurance benefits are provided directly through the membership, including attorney access and covered legal services.
When does coverage start?
Your membership benefits begin as soon as you sign up. There is no long waiting period to access attorney support or other included benefits.
What types of incidents are covered?
Membership benefits apply to lawful acts of self-defense involving a firearm or other legal means. Coverage includes both criminal and civil defense related to qualifying self-defense incidents.
Do I get access to a real attorney?
Yes. Members have 24/7/365 access to a real, licensed attorney through the emergency hotline if they’re involved in a self-defense incident.

*The Right To Bear Association has acquired a self-defense liability policy on behalf of the Association and its members, providing protection for criminal and civil defense, firearm replacement, bail bonds, and psychological support in the event of a covered act of self-defense.
Membership fees are collected and managed by Moultrie Insurance, LLC, a licensed insurance agency providing sales, operational, and administrative support to the Right To Bear Association. California License # 6006483
